Score! Just got my acceptance e-mail to Meg Swanson's Knitting Camp. The original plan was for the Husband AND Miss H. to accompany me to Wisconsin as "non-knitting guests", spending their days playing and taking day trips all up and down the backwoods of Wisconsin, while I knitted my time away in air conditioned comfort. But faced with the reality of it, is this really such a good plan after all -- husband and toddler in tow? I think the Husband and I need to pow-wow on this again.
So while I mull this over, I leave you with both a knitting and non-knitting shot.
The first are two hats knit from the same awesome pattern -- Koolhass out of the IK Holiday 2007 Issue:
The first is knit for Malabrigo Merino (mmmm) in Emerald (I think, anyway, as the gal at the yarn shop tossed my tag when she wound it for me), and the second is Lorna's Laces Worsted in Sage. My man loves them both and he looks fabulous getting there, crutches and all.
And here's a pic from yesterday's playdate at the beach. There are reasons we make sacrifices to live where we do, and a warm February day on the beach is one of them,...
Have a great day!!!
