After flipping through both, I liked the first book better, too.

Wow, let us know how Thursday goes. Maybe you'll post a photo of the peanut... :-)

Or maybe they won't be able to tell. I didn't find out with either of my pregnancies but I couldn't have with my first even if I wanted too. I'd liked being surprised. :)

I did not find out what flavor I was having either time with my kids....mostly just so when people said, "Do you know what you are having?"

I could say, "Well, the Dr. tells me its a baby but most days it feels like a space alien. We'll have to wait until it appears to see."

And then half the people would look at me like I was a real idiot and say "No, whether its a boy or a girl!" and the others would laugh (or frown and walk away).

It was the only entertaining thing about pregnancy. Maybe I am a sicko.

With my u/s, the boy parts were quite obvious--even to my untrained eye. So it was a good thing I didn't have a problem with finding out! :) And even at 18 weeks, it was still a surprise. You just get to be surprised a little sooner.

If you decide you really don't wanna know, you might have to not watch parts of the u/s--since the clarity is so good these days. And remember its exciting if you find out now, or later. :)

Ha! I did the same thing with my leftover Halloween candy. My co-workers complained also, but only because they supposedly didn't like what I brought in. When I left work today, the candy bowl was bare. Guess it wasn't so bad after all. :)

That's evil. Not telling everyone. How will we know what to knit you and the "bean"? :)
