Yep,... that's me!! The timing is
WAY a bit earlier than anticipated -- I'm 16 weeks along and we've been married a whole 17 weeks (!!) -- but we are very much looking forward to this new and exciting adventure. Our due date is April 3.
Here's a pic of the bean at 13 weeks:
So this little unit is the reason why the blog has been so quiet -- damn morning sickness! I'm just starting to feel better, knock on wood, but still am struggling a bit with the nausea, fatigue, insomnia and chronic headaches. And Lifesavers -- yes, the little candies your grandma always had in her purse -- have, no joke / no pun intended, SAVED MY LIFE in terms of keeping the hurl-factor under control. Oh, and work couldn't be more busy right now, which makes the situation extra challenging, but it's all good. My boss and coworkers are all very excited for us, and being very supportive in terms of my maternity leave options, as well as the possibility of telecommuting and transitioning to part-time upon my return. Really, my work situation couldn't be better, and I'm exceedingly thankful for that.
So that's the story, morning glory. I'll post later with actual knitting content, if you can believe it!
A most fabulous weekend to everyone!
