Oh, I do believe I've found our new dining room table (even though we officially don't have a dining room, but that's a whole other issue):
It's the Enterprise table by Calligaris. We came upon it while doing some post-xmas errands up at my folks'. The table is convertable, and goes from seating four to seating, get this, TWELVE people!! In the smaller configuration, the table leaves are stacked on top of each other. When you want to make the table larger, the leaves slide out to the sides, quite effortlessly, and lock into place. AND, for lazy asses like me, the table doesn't even need to be cleared in order to enlargen it! I'm in love. Once we get the range and dishwasher for the kitchen off the big-ticket purchase list, this baby will be MINE!
I'm sickie today and have lost my voice. The guy is off to San Fran for a little shopping, and I've decided to stay at home to rest, knit (!!!), and watch some Sex in the City (season six, part 2, volume 1) which, surprisingly, was actually in stock at the video store last night -- yay for me, and double yay yay for lazy, rainy sundays!!
