Ppppponchofication!
I finally got the camera working (sort of) AND cast off the Ponchofication of Charlotte project:
Here's a little up-close and personal action:
In real life, the colors are less mustardy, but you get the jist.
And like Steph mentioned in her post today, it's hard to tell exactly how long the finished product is going to be since you block the crap out of it, but if my gauge is similar to my original Charlotte, it should be about right. I can't wait the get the crocheted edge and fringe on this baby!!
Hope everyone has a safe and fun M-day weekend!
Bootiful!! I knew I would love the look of Charlotte as a poncho. Now, do I have the energy to poncho-fy a Charlotte for me?

Wow, nice to see what it will look like off the needles. How many stitches did you start with? And, what did you do at the neck?
Good luck with the blocking, I'm still working on how I'll actually do it. I only have 8 rows to go!--we'll be poncho-rific by the weekend!

Damn. I was resisting the shawl because I am not a shawl chick but a Koigu poncho. Now I have to do it because yours looks so fabulous.

I would love to know how you did this if you don't mind sharing the pattern. It's gorgeous.

Wow - That is so cool! Like Allison, I've tried to resist the strong pull of Charlotte because I don't wear shawls. But I did think a poncho would be great. This is super cool.
